RPG Maker Unite Review

I got a chance to get my hands on RPG Maker's Unity version called RPG Maker Unite. While it's technically functional and can be used to build RPGs, I would steer clear. They offer free and paid addons on the Epic Games Store over the Unity Asset Store. They offer a free trial on the EGS as well. The UI is different from the main series, and they should've coded better custom inspectors for the transition between MZ and Unite.
Can Unite build games? Sure.
Would you find it easier than MZ? No.
Is switching to Unite worth it? If you want to use C# and customize everything, yes.
Personally, I'm staying with MZ until something better comes out. I use Unity on a daily basis, just not for RPGs. As someone who tested Unite, I would say skip it. There are cheaper, better options you can find on the asset store. Unite isn't worth the full price. Only buy it on sale at a discounted price if you do want to pick it up.
